Abstract:
This research aims to analyze the current and desirable conditions of teaching and
learning management on strengthening the citizenship of teachers at the early childhood
level. Analyze the characteristics of strong citizenship according to the desirable conditions
of early childhood. Develop a model of teaching and learning management of early
childhood teachers in enhancing early childhood children to become strong citizens.
And the presentation of teaching and learning management models in enhancing early
childhood children to become strong citizens for relevant agencies and target groups.
The research process is divided into 3 phases : Phase 1 Study of current and desirable
conditions of teaching and learning management and studying the characteristics of
a strong citizen by collecting information from Primary school Teachers, School
Administrator and Parents of early childhood. Use questionnaires and interview forms.
Phase 2 Creation and development of instructional management model for early
childhood teachers by assessing the suitability and feasibility of the model from an expert.
And the third phase is the study of the development results and the presentation of
the teaching and learning management model. The model was tested with 13 preschool
children in Kindergarten 3 in the first semester of the academic year 2022.
The results showed that
1 ) Conditions of teaching and learning management for strengthening citizenship
as a whole, current conditions at the moderate level ( x = 3.21, S.D.= 1.37) and desirable
conditions at the level the most ( x = 4.58, S.D.= .63) when analyzing the index (PNI(modified))
Education priorities needs and conditions for teaching and learning to strengthen
citizenship. Most of the opinions are considered in general. (PNI(modified) = 0.44) and strong
citizenship characteristics according to the desirable conditions of early childhood
children, including: Children who are able to play or work with friends with a purposeful
goal are appropriate for their age. Children who are responsible for the tasks assigned
successfully. And children who can perform daily routines on their own.
2) Creation and development of teaching and learning management model for
early childhood teachers consisting of Fundamental theories and concepts, Principle,
Objective, Learning Content, Learning Activities, Learning Materials and Measurement and
evaluation. It is a model of teaching and learning management for early childhood
teachers. There are 5 steps in the teaching process, which are: Step 1 Asking
questions/issues Step 2 Think Step 3 Reflection Step and linking previous experiences Step
4 Seeking Answers And the 5th step, the presentation stage. And the teachings of
Buddhism, including The Four noble Truths.
3) An overall study of the development results and presentation of the teaching
and learning management model. It was found that early childhood children who received
the learning experience according to the teaching management model of early childhood
teachers. Have a strong citizenship score of a Primary child. After the experiment higher
than the experiment. The relative development scores were analyzed for the number and
percentage of early childhood children with developmental scores. Individually is in a high
level of development ( x = 53.13, S.D. = 18.66)
