A Study of teachers opinions on the administrative skills of school administrators in Thap Sakae district, Prachuap Khiri Khan primary educational service area office 1
Abstract:
This research aimed to study and compare administrative skills of school administrators
in Thap Sakae District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Primary Educational Service Area Office 1,
comprising 5 aspects: 1) cognitive skills, 2) technical skills, 3) instructional skills, 4) human
skills, and 5) conceptual skills. The samples included 165 teachers of schools in Thap
Sakae District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The
instrument was a five-rating scale questionnaire with a reliability of 0.93. Data were analyzed
using statistics including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test.
The results revealed that:
1. Teachers' opinion towards school administration of the school administrators in
Thap Sakae District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 was at
a high level in every aspect, as follows: cognitive skills, technical skills, human skills,
instructional skills, and conceptual skills, respectively.
2. The results of comparing teachers' opinions towards the school administrators
administrative skills in Thap Sakae District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Primary Educational
Service Area Office 1, classified by gender, and educational level found no difference.
