Enhancing innovation executive functions for underprivileged early childhood children with a set of learning activities integrating lifestyles with parent participation in Surat Thani child development center
Abstract:
This research aims to develop innovations to enhance executive functions in
underprivileged early childhood children through a set of learning activities integrating
lifestyles with parental participation. The sample consisted of 13 teachers, recruited
voluntarily, 67 early childhood children, and 67 parents from Surat Thani child
development center. Conducted in 4 phases: 1) Analyze basic data, 2) Develop a draft
innovation, 3) Trial and evaluate the innovation, and 4) Develop a complete
innovation. The research tools are an in-depth interview about the lifestyles of parents,
a questionnaire to measure teacher competency, a behavioral observation form to
measure executive functions of early childhood children, and a questionnaire for the
opinions of those involved in using innovations. The statistics used are the average,
standard deviation, and independent T test. The research results found that

with parent participation, including: 1) Housework Integration Kit: newbie engineer
activities with a dream house, a clean house with a magic broom, a fun robot mop,
fun laundry, and a little tidying up for me. 2) Kitchen integration set: Healthy menu
activities, recipes for little ones, 100 little chefs' skills, elegant plating, and good
manners with delicious food. 3) Daily routine integration set: wonderful organ activities,
washing hands, brushing teeth, bathing, and making the bed to create and teach happy
habits. 4) Hobby integration set: activities with a variety of senses, tongue, eyes, body,
ears, and ears. 5) Career integration set: Interesting career activities in the community,
young farmers, fun trades, wealthy beauticians, working as a government employee. 6)
Integrated environmental work in community context: waste management activities,
waste creates value, a beautiful world with waste, DIY waste toys, garbage andฉ
sufficiency 7) Religious cultural integration learning set: Asarnha Bucha Day activities,
crafting candles, arranging flowers to worship monks, making merit by giving alms to
monks, simulated candle procession. 8) Local traditional festival integration set:
Southern traditional buddhist ceremony, Tom Wan dessert, Chak Phra, Buddha boat
architect, Surat Thani boat race, Chak Phra replication. Each activity has 5 steps:
Stimulus, Plan, Action, Reflection, Apply, called SPAR Model. This document is
prepared in 4 parts: basic knowledge about innovation, activity plans, guidelines for
implementing innovations, and appendices. Therefore, the overall quality is
appropriate at a high level.
2. Early childhood children whose teachers used innovations had higher
executive functions for successful lives after the experiment than before the
experiment, at a statistical significance of 0.05.
3. Teachers who use innovation have higher performance in organizing
activities to enhance executive functions for a successful life for early childhood
children. Overall, the experiment illustrates statistical significance at 0.05.
4. Participants in using the innovation had overall opinions after the
experiment at a high level
