The curruculum development to enhance self reliance on the sufficiency economy philosophy for youth aged 10-15 years in Luang Nuea subdistrict, Doi Saket district, Chiang Mai province.
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were : 1) To study basic information about the curriculum to enhance self reliance on the philosophy of Sufficiency Economy Philosophy for youth aged 10-15 years in Luang Nuea subdistrict, Doi Saket district, Chiang Mai province and 2) To develop the curriculum to enhance self reliance on the philosophy of Sufficiency Economy Philosophy for youth aged 10- 15 years in Luang Nuea subdistrict, Doi Saket district, Chiang Mai province. The target group for this research are 28 persons of youth from 10-15 years olds in Luang Nuea subdistrict, Doi Saket district, Chiang Mai province. And the duration of the experiment is 18 hours. The research instruments that used for gathering information were : 1) To study about the curriculum was basic data recording forms and 2) To develop the curriculum were : 2. 1) For creating a curriculum, include 1) Evaluation of consistency between basic information and objects 2) Evaluation of consistency between objects and content and 3) Evaluation of consistency between content and the curriculum. 2.2) For testing the curriculum, include 1) multiple-choice achievement test and 2) potential data collection form. And 2.3) For curriculum evaluation, include 1) Conformity assessment form of component of the curriculum that were analyzed using Arithmetic Mean, percentage and Standard Deviation.
The research results were found that:
1) The youth in Luang Nuea subdistrict, Doi Saket district, Chiang Mai province have knowledge and understanding about their own village because each family in the village have many types of agricultural products, respect each other as relatives, live with a simple life, sufficient, generous, and peaceful.
2) The results of the curriculum to enhance self reliance on the philosophy of Sufficiency Economy Philosophy for youth aged 10-15 years in Luang Nuea subdistrict, Doi Saket district, Chiang Mai province found that
2.1) The results of the curriculum creation has 7 components: Lead of the curriculum, Principles of the curriculum, Aims of the curriculum, Learning structure, Guidelines for learning activities, Media and learning resources and Measurement and evaluation. By 6 learning units of Learning Activities.
2.2) The results of the curriculum testing found that the youth in target group have the potential to be self-reliant according to their age, the percentage of a Good level is 53.57% and the percentage of a Fair level is 46.43%. And the results of learning activities achievement test are Arithmetic Mean and Standard Deviation of post-test score ( x ̅ = 17.96 , S.D. 1.45) and Arithmetic Mean and Standard Deviation of pre-test score (x ̅ = 8.29 , S.D. 1.63).
2.3) The results of the evaluation of consistency of all components is a Excellent level (x ̅ = 4.37 , S.D. = 0.69).
