Abstract:
This research aimed to: 1) study the current and desirable conditions of the participatory administration in educational institutions under the Office of the Secondary Education Service Area 10 and 2) study guidelines for the administration of participation in educational institutions under the Office of the Secondary Education Service Area 10.
The sample group used in this research was teachers in educational institutes under the Office of the Secondary Education Service Area 10, the sample size was determined from the ready-made table of Krejcie & Morgan out of 20 schools and the respondents in this interview were 5 school administrators. The research instruments were a 5-point rating scale questionnaire and a structured interview. The statistics used in this research were percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation, and interview forms using content analysis.
The results of the research were: 1) the current and desirable conditions of the participatory administration in the educational institution under the Office of the Secondary Education Service Area 10, overall, it was at a high level. 2) Guidelines for participatory administration in educational institutions under the Office of the Secondary Education Service Area 10, it was found that participation in planning and setting goals had the highest necessary index of demand. Participation in planning and setting goals the guidelines are as follows: 1) management must be ready to give advice accept comments, 2) the subordinates should always be involved in the improvement develop goals of the school, 3) executives and subordinates should jointly set operational goals of the school in the same direction to eliminate conflicts and 4) subordinates should be involved in planning objectives setting goals, strategies of school.
