Abstract:
This study was a descriptive research and its purposes were to study : 1) students resilience level in Rattanakosinsomphotbowonniwetsalaya School 2) the needs for developing academic management of Rattanakosinsomphotbowonniwetsalaya school based on the concept of resilience and 3) to propose approaches for developing academic management of Rattanakosinsomphotbowonniwetsalaya school based on the concept of resilience. The informants consisted of 4 administrators, 76 teachers, and 162 students. The research instruments were: a rating scaled questionnaire about students resilience level in Rattanakosinsomphotbowonniwetsalaya School a rating scaled questionnaire about the current and desirable states of academic management of Rattanakosinsomphotbowonniwetsalaya school based on the concept of resilience and an evaluation form to testify appropriateness and feasibility of approaches. The data was analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, PNI [Modified], mode, and content analysis. The findings showed that: 1) students resilience level in Rattanakosinsomphotbowonniwetsalaya School was at the high level (x = 4.20), while the lowest level was self efficacy. 2) The first priority needed for developing academic management was developing curriculum (PNI [Modified] = 0.25). The second priority needed for developing academic management was teaching and learning (PNI [Modified] = 0.23). The third priority needed of academic management was evaluation (PNI [Modified] = 0.21). 3) The 3 approaches for developing academic management of Rattanakosinsomphotbowonniwetsalaya school based on the concept of resilience were (1) developing curriculum that focused on resilience learning outcomes, problem-solving ability, purpose, self-efficacy and self-regulation (2) developing learning activities that focused on self-efficacy, and self-regulation. (3) developing an evaluation process that focused on learning outcomes, problem-solving ability, self-efficacy, and self-regulation.
