Factors influencing English self-learning performance through social media : a case of students in the Faculty of Business Administration, RMUTT
Abstract:
The objectives of this research were to study
study the influence among the student's motivation,
student's behavior, student's confidence, and student's
performance to learn English through social media. The
samples were of 400 students studying in the Faculty of
Business Administration, Rajamanga University of
Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT). The purposive
sampling, followed by convenience sampling method,
were applied. Self-reported questionnaire was employed to
collect the data. The descriptive statistics (frequency,
percentage, mean and standard deviation, Skewness and
Kurtosis) and inferential statistics (structural equation
modeling) at the statistically significant level as of 0.05
were hired in data analysis. The results discovered that
student's motivation has positive influence on student's
behavior, student's confidence and student's English
learning performance. Also, student's behavior has
positive influence on student's confidence and student's
English learning performance. Lastly, student's confidence
has positive influence on student's English leaning
performance at the significant level as of 0.05.
