Abstract:
ABSTRACT
The purposes of this research were to: 1) compare the mathematical reasoning ability of students before and after learning through the Experiential Learning Cycle with Badhams Questioning Techniques; and 2) compare the students attitude toward mathematics before and after learning through the Experiential Learning Cycle with Badhams Questioning Techniques. The research sample consisted of 20 Grade 5 students studying in the second semester of the academic year 2023 at Wat Paikhad School, Song Phi Nong District, Suphan Buri Province, derived from cluster sampling. The research instruments consisted of lesson plans, a reasoning ability test, and an attitude test toward mathematics. Statistics used for data analysis were mean, standard deviation, and dependent t-test.
The findings of this research were as follows:
1. The mathematical reasoning ability of students after learning through the Experiential Learning Cycle with Badhams Questioning Techniques was higher than before learning with statistical significance at .05.
2. The students attitude toward mathematics after learning through the Experiential Learning Cycle with Badhams Questioning Techniques was higher than before learning with statistical significance at .05.
