Abstract:
This cross-sectional descriptive study aimed to study health promotion behaviors and study factors relating to health promotion behaviors during COVID-19 situation among the 3rd year students, University of Phayao. 273 participants were health science students, obtained from multi-stage random sampling. Data were collected by self-answered questionnaires, analyzed by frequency. percentage, mean, standard deviation and multiple analysis (stepwise). The results showed that Most of the subjects were female (85.7%), aged 21 years (69.6%), with health conditions. The body mass index (BMI) was at the most normal level (50.9%). Most of them were non-smokers (96.7%) but drank alcohol only on festivals or special occasions (57.5%). Health-promoting behaviors were moderate (72.9%). %) Considering each aspect, it was found that they had knowledge, attitudes and perceptions of the benefits of health promotion.
