Abstract:
The educational for developing the youth in southern border provinces of Thailand is still necessary to improve the quality of education and strengthen security in the area. Therefore, the research was conducted to analyze the state of learning management and offering guidelines learning management base on sport integration for youth in the southern border provinces. The qualitative research method was used in the implementation with the data collected by studying documents, group discussion with 15 informants, and observations. The data were validated by tri-angulations technique and analyzed by content analysis. The finding was learning states can be divided into six areas: policy and goals, administrative process, teaching and learning management, training and personnel development, budget and project impact. The all of 6 learning states were synthesized into 4 learning management strategies, namely, proactive strategy, defensive strategy, remedial strategy, and coped strategy. As toward, proposed guidelines for learning management in 5 levels: government level, the ministry/provincial level, school level, higher education institution level, and at the community/network level. These findings suggested that the sport can be another option for integrating learning management to motivate youth and improve the quality of Thai education.
