Abstract:
This independent study had three objectives: 1) to study the level of academic leadership of school administrators in the 21st century, Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, 2) to compare the academic leadership of school administrators in the 21st century, Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 classified by gender, educational background, work experiences and the size of the
schools, and 3) to compile recommendations on academic leadership of school administrators in the 21st century, Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The samples were 169 school teachers under the Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The questionnaire was used as a tool. The data were analyzed by statistical values, including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation T-value and F-value test.
The results found that
1. The level of the academic leadership of school administrators in the 21st century, Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 in overall was at the highest level.
2. The comparative results of academic leadership of school administrators in the 21st century, Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 classified by gender, educational background and work experiences, overall, they were not different. In the aspect of size of schools, overall, it was statistically significantly different at the .05 level.
3. Academic leadership recommendations for school administrators in the 21st Century, Yala Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, administrators should develop learning materials by encouraging teachers to conduct the research for learning materials development. Executives should develop learning resources by establishing a learning resource in the community that is conducive to the knowledge building of the learners. Administrators should measure, evaluate and research by
encouraging teachers to disseminate research results both within and outside educational institutions.
