The Development of Mathematical Learning Activities Package by Using Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract Learning Management Integrating with Augmented Reality Technology on Geometry to Enhance Analytical Thinking Skills of Grade 6 Students
Abstract:
This research aimed to develop mathematical learning activities package by using Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract learning management integrating with augmented reality technology on geometry to enhance analytical thinking skills of grade 6 students, to
find the efficiency of the learning activities package, and to study on the analytical. thinking skills and satisfaction towards learning. The samples were 36 grade 6 students of Bangnarawitthaya school, Muang district of Narathiwat province gaining by cluster
random sampling. The pretest and posttest were given to the students for assessing analytical thinking skills before and after learning respectively followed by the questionnaire for assessing the satisfaction towards learning. The researcher analyzed the efficiency of the mathematical learning activities package by using E E equal to 70/70 criteria. Paired sample t-Test was used to compare the score of analytical thinking skills of the students before and after learning while one sample t-Test was used to compare the posttest score of analytical thinking skills with 70% criteria. Moreover, descriptive statistics were used to describe the satisfaction of the students towards learning through the learning activities package created by the researcher. The finding revealed that 1) the efficiency of the mathematical learning activities package
was E1/E2 equal to 78.68 /79.81 2) the analytical thinking skills of students after learning was significantly higher than before learning and also significantly higher than 70% criteria at 0.05 level of significe, and 3) the mean score of the satisfaction of the
students towards learning through the mathematical learning activities package was 4.36 which is in the highest level.
