The implementation of student care systems for children with special needs in basic education schools, under Ubon Ratchathani primary educational service area 1
Abstract:
The objectives of the research were to 1) Study The Implement of Student Care System for Children with Special Needs in Basic Education Schools, under Ubon Ratchatani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 2) The Implement of Student Care System for Children with Special Needs in Basic Education Schools divided by position, experience, school size and 3) study the guideline on Student Care System for Children with Special Needs in Basic Education Schools. The sampling of 496 in total consisted of 148 school directors and 348 teachers. The research instrument was five - rating scale questionnaires which gained .98 index of reliability. The statistics to used were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, content analysis and also F-test in case of statistical significances were apparently different.
The research findings were found as follows.
The Implement of Student Care System for Children with Special Needs in Basic Education Schools reached high level generally.
The school director and teacher had differentiated with the statistical significance level of 0.05 on Student Care System for Children with Special Needs in Basic Education Schools divided by position and experience. However, the school director and teacher with different school size had same opinion.
The guideline 1) Knowing individual children with special needs; using sever methods to compile information and report. 2) Screening children with special needs; defining obvious criteria to classify the students. 3) Developing and encouraging children with special needs; holding interesting activities to 4) Protecting, helping and solving problems; finding the appropriate way to solve individual problems of students 5) Referring; compling information, coordinating and following up students with special needs.
