The Development of a Cloud-Based Blended Learning Model Using Synectics Approach and Lateral Thinking Technique to Enhance Creative Problem Solving in Photography Ability for Rajabhat University Students
Abstract:
To promote creative problem solving in photography ability, there should be a learning style that is consistent with 21st century skills, promoting the use of technological media to enable students to learn how to problem solving through creative photography in searching for answers. This research aimed to development a cloud based blended learning model using synectics approach and lateral thinking technique to enhance creative problem solving in photography ability of Rajabhat University students. The study was onducted in 3 phases: the study of the current situation; the development of the model; and the model experimental results. The sample group was composed of 24 students of Muban Chombueng Rajabhat University who registered the course of photography with purposive ampling method in the period of ten weeks. The research tool is the evaluation form, learning management plan, online lessons, cloud tool, evaluation form of photography knowledge and capability, capability evaluation form of creative problem solving, work evaluation form, and statistics used for data analysis which were mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The research result found that, 1) The loud based blended learning model using synectic approach and lateral thinking technique contained seven components which were photography content, learning sources, learning and teaching activities, learning methods to solve problems, learning tools, photograph works, and evaluation of learning results including the steps of searching problems, specifying problems, presenting creative guidelines, practicing in the fieldwork, creating works, and discussing works and sharing. The components of the cloud tool also consisted of clouding the learning and teaching result; and clouding creatively for photography. 2) The model testing saw that learners had higher capability to creatively solve photography problems after learning than before learning. The learners had higher knowledge and apability of photography in the posttest than the pretest. Also, the learners had creative photography works after learning higher than
before learning with the statistical significance at the level of .05. The result from this research cloudbased blended learning
model using synectics approach and lateral thinking technique. They promoted the creativity that students learned from creative roblem solving in photography as well and could be a guideline for introducing the technology to participate in teaching and learning anagement in other courses further.
