Abstract:
The objective of this research was to present a knowledge management model of the school administrators in the new era to develop educational quality in Pra Pariyatdhamma School, Department of General Education. The research was conducted into 4 phases. The first phase was to study current conditions and problems in knowledge management. The samples were administrators and teachers in Pra Pariyatdhamma Schools, Department of General Education in the Northeastern region in a total of 456 people. They were randomized by simple random sampling. The second phase was to create a knowledge management model of the school administrators in the new era. The target group included 11 experts selected by purposive sampling. The third phase was to try out the knowledge management model of the school administrators in the new era. The target group included the school administrators and teachers in a total of 21 people selected by purposive sampling. The fourth phase was to evaluate the knowledge management model of the school administrators in the new era. The target group included school administrators and people involving in a total of 21 people selected by purposive sampling. The research instruments were a questionnaire, an interview form and an evaluation form. The statistics used were percentage, mean, standard deviation and content analysis.
The research findings were as follows.
The knowledge management model of the school administrators in the new era to develop educational quality in Pra Pariyatdhamma Schools, Department of General Education consisted of 5 components. The first component was the principles of the model consisting of 1) lifelong learning, 2) change management, 3) fatcipation and 4) socialization. The second component was the objectives of the model consisting of 1) school administrators, teachers and staff being able to bring knowledge management guidelines in the new era to develop teaching and learning management to enable learners to have better learning quality and 2) new learning methods used by schools to update the transformation in the present. The third component was the operation methods of the model consisting of 1) knowledge identification, 2) knowledge acquisition, 3) knowledge organization, 4) refinement knowledge, 5) knowledge access, 6) knowledge sharing and 7) knowledge. The third component must depend on 3 aspects of the movement process: creating participation, communication and using digital technology. The fourth component was the guidelines for evaluating the model consisting of 1) the evaluation of the success and 2) the evaluation of the satisfaction. The fifth component was the conditions for success of the model consisting of 1) being awareness and realizing the importance of the knowledge development and 2) being learning persons, participating in activities, having real determination and intention in managing knowledge to develop educational quality to be better
