Abstract:
This article conducts a systematic study on the history and food culture
of Luoyang City, covering the origin and development process, especially the study
of Luoyang Peony Wine and Bufan Soup.
The purpose is to create an illustration packaging design by studying its
history and culture and using its cultural connotation, and to design an illustration
packaging design that can represent the food characteristics of Luoyang and convey
its cultural heritage. It is also an illustration packaging design for Luoyang peony wine
and non-turning soup.
The method is to conduct literature research and field investigation on
the development history of Luoyang Peony Wine and Bufan Soup to find interesting
design points, such as poems, folklore and folk stories. Analyze these interesting
traditional folklore stories, and then carry out narrative illustration packaging design
based on packaging theme concept theory, color composition design theory, etc.
After the design is completed, conduct expert interviews and target group
questionnaire research.
The research result is to innovate on the basis of retaining the
characteristics of the original artistic heritage, focusing on the uniqueness and cultural
connotation of Luoyang culture, and designing based on its cultural poetry, folklore
and folk stories as innovation points. There are six design works, three One picture is
for Luoyang Peony Wine, three pictures are for Liu Ji Bufan Tang, and six pictures
were interviewed by three experts for evaluation, and then the final illustration
packaging design modifications were made. Finally, the illustration packaging for
Luoyang Peony Wine and Liu Ji Bufan Soup was obtained. One design each, for a
total of two works. Then we continued to conduct a questionnaire survey of the
target population. The number of valid samples that participated was 102 people, in
anonymous form. The questionnaire was conveniently distributed through social
software and through statistical analysis of the questionnaire data to ensure that the
design could meet market demand and have Competitiveness, the subsequent
questionnaire results were in line with expectations, and the work was visually
attractive and the emotional effect was consistent with the brand values. These
suggestions will guide my future packaging design and marketing strategies to ensure
a successful launch in the market and hopefully attract more potential consumers.
