Abstract:
The purposes of this study were: 1) to study knowledge management within the organization that affects the behavior of employees; 2) to examine the performance level of employees in the organization including their understanding of the operations in the organization; 3)to explore the experience and opinions on knowledge management of employees in theorganization to improve and develop the organizations knowledge management. This study wasconducted using a qualitative research methodology. It is a single case study, using documentaryresearch and in-depth interviews about application of knowledge management process to find in-depth information about the organization. The research found that knowledge management processwithin the organization all affects the work behavior of employees. The employees have thebehavior of creating knowledge and seeking other knowledge both inside and outside theorganization, including paying attention to the work of other positions even if it is not related totheir own departments. The employees have a desire to seek knowledge to improve theirperformance, need support from the organization in every knowledge management process, andneed trainings develop their skills and gain more knowledge to develop their potential and apply intheir work. The findings indicates that knowledge management in organization is efficient and canbe synthesized into human resource policy for sustainable organization management.
