Abstract:
The objectives of this study were: 1) to explore personal factors of people who stay in a room rental at Omnoi Subdistrict, Krathum Baen District Samutsakhon Province; 2) to study marketing factors affecting room rental at Omnoi Subdistrict, Krathum Baen District Samutsakhon Province; and 3) to study the decision to rent a room at Omnoi Subdistrict, Krathum Baen District Samutsakhon Province. The sampling was purposive sampling and used questionnaires as a tool for data collection. The data was analyzed by frequency, percentage, means and standard deviation. The statistics for testing hypothesis were one way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Chi square by analyzing Least Square Difference (LSD) at 95 percent confidence level.
The results showed that most samples were male, aged between 21 30 years old, working in a private company, an average income between 10,001 20,000 Baht per month. In addition, room rental decision at Omnoi Subdistrict, Krathum Baen District Samutsakhon Province also consider from car parking and price between 1,000 2,000 Baht per month. The main objective in room rental decision at Omnoi Subdistrict, Krathum Baen District Samutsakhon Province was personal residence. Most of them received information they found by themselves. They had compared with 1-2 other room rentals.
For the hypothesis, it was found that the relationship between personal factors had an effect on the decision for room rental at Omnoi Subdistrict, Krathum Baen District Samutsakhon Province. The hypothesis of affecting the decision to room rental at Omnoi Subdistrict, Krathum Baen District Samutsakhon Province fall into 7 points; product, price, place, promotion, people, process and physical evidence.
