Abstract:
The objectives of this research were: (1) to study the problematic state of learning management for developing instructional media production skills for social studies, religion, and culture learning of students in teaching social studies at Mahamakut Buddhist University, Isan Campus; (2) to develop a learning management model to develop instructional media production skills for social studies, religion and culture learning of students in teaching social studies at Mahamakut Buddhist University, Isan Campus; (3) to try out the developed learning management model; (4) to evaluate the effectiveness of using such learning management model. The target group included 52 third-year undergraduate students obtained by purposive sampling. The tools used were the learning management model, the model manual, an instructional media production skill test, and a satisfaction questionnaire. Statistics used in data analysis were: mean, standard deviation, and t-test (Dependent).
The research results were as follows:
1) The mean value of the opinions of the target population towards learning management problems for developing instructional media production skills in learning social studies, religion and culture of students in teaching social studies at Mahamakut Buddhist University, Isan Campus was at a high level.
2) The learning management model to develop instructional media production skills for learning social studies, religion and culture of students in teaching social studies at Mahamakut Buddhist University, Isan Campus consisted of for components: principles, objectives, IGPEP learning management process and evaluation of instructional media production skills.
3) The experimental results of the developed learning management model showed that the posttest scores were significantly higher than that of the pretest at the level of .01, and the target group's satisfaction with the model was at a high level.
4) The results of the evaluation of the effectiveness of the learning management model for developing instructional media production skills in learning social studies, religion, and culture. of teaching social studies students at Mahamakut Buddhist University, Isan was at the highest level.
