Abstract:
The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the problematic condition of learning management; 2) to develop the exercise on self-behavior according to the Three Ovāda; 3) to evaluate the effectiveness of the exercise on self-behavior according to the Three Ovāda of the third-year elementary school students at Holy Redeemer Banphai School, Ban Phai District, Khon Kaen Province. This study was carried out by means of quantitative and experimental research. The sample group consisted of 123 third-year elementary school students. The target group was 30 third-year elementary school students selected by purposive sampling. The research tools were: a questionnaire, learning exercises, exercises, pre-test, and post-test. Statistics used in data analysis were: frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test (dependent).
The research results were as follows:
1) The condition of learning management on self-behavior according to the Three Ovāda was statistically rated at a high level. 2) The learning achievement of the students using the exercise on self-behavior according to the Three Ovāda was ( x̄ = 36.36, S.D.=1.93. The effectiveness (E1/E2) of the learning achievement of the students using the exercise on self-behavior according to the Three Ovāda was 76.55/89.44, higher than the set criteria.
3) Based on the efficiency of the exercise on self-behavior according to the Three Ovāda of the third-year elementary school students at Holy Redeemer Banphai School, Ban Phai District, Khon Kaen Province, the score from the posttest was ( x̄ = 8.63, S.D.=1.59, higher than that of pretest ( x̄ = 6.83, S.D.=1.66) with a statistical significance level of .05. = 4.43, S.D.=0.47), followed by assessment and evaluation and instructional activities.
