Abstract:
The objectives of this research were: to study the condition, create a model, experiment with a model, and to assess the use of the model for promoting the public mind based on the Buddhist integration of high school students in Pibul Mangsahan School, Ubon Ratchathani Province. This study was carried out by means of R&D research. The samples included 243 students. The research tools were: a questionnaire, an interview form, and the model. The statistics used in data analysis were: frequency, percentage, and standard deviation.
The research results were as follows:
1) The condition of the promotion of the public mind based on Buddhist integration of high school students in Pibul Mangsahan School, Ubon Ratchathani Province was statistically rated at a high level of performance.
2) The model for promoting the public mind based on Buddhist integration of high school students in Pibul Mangsahan School, Ubon Ratchathani Province consisted of the steps of introduction, implementation, evaluation, and summary of the LITS model activity guidelines, consisting of Learning innovation, Innovation, Transformation, and Sustainability. The model is the creation of a body of knowledge to be used as a practical guideline to elevate one's public mind causing learning creation with awareness of sustainability, and self-modification to have positive behaviors to create happiness in society.
3) The experimental results of the model for promoting the public mind based on Buddhist integration of high school students in Pibul Mangsahan School, Ubon Ratchathani Province suggested the effectiveness values (E1/E2) at 92.77/92.88. The satisfaction of the students with the activities was at the highest level.
4) The assessment score of the model for promoting the public mind based on Buddhist integration of high school students in Pibul Mangsahan School, Ubon Ratchathani Province by the experts was at the highest level.
