Abstract: การวิจัยนี้ เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพมีวัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย คือ 1. เพื่อศึกษาความมีอยู่ของเทวดาและจริยธรรมของเทวดาในพระพุทธศาสนา 2. เพื่อศึกษาความเชื่อเรื่องเทวดาที่มีต่อประชาชนในอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดหนองคาย และ 3. เพื่อวิเคราะห์หลักจริยธรรมของเทวดาที่มีต่อประชาชนในอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดหนองคาย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ความมีอยู่ของเทวดาและจริยธรรมของเทวดาในพระพุทธศาสนา คือสัตว์ผู้ที่อาศัยอยู่ใน เทวโลกในชั้นสวรรค์มี 6 ชั้น จึงมีชื่อ เรียกว่า ฉกามาพจร ซึ่งมีความหมายถึง ภพภูมิที่ยังติดอยู่ในบ่วงกามตัณหา ยังมีความอยาก ความใคร่ มีการจุติ เกิด ดับ คล้ายปุถุชนเหมือนดังโลกมนุษย์ ดังที่มีปรากฏยืนยันในคัมภีร์พระพุทธศาสนา นอกจากนั้นในทางพระพุทธศาสนายัง สามารถแบ่งแยกย่อยลงไปเป็นอีก 3 ประเภทคือ สมมุติเทพ อุบัติเทพ และวิสุทธิเทพ โดยการอุบัติ ขึ้นมาของเทวดานั้นเกิดมาจาก ผลบุญที่ได้เพียรกระทำสั่งสมเอาไว้ และอาศัยคุณธรรมเบื้องต้น คือ หิริ โอตตัปปะ นำพาให้ไปเกิดบนสรวงสวรรค์ชั้นต่างๆ ได้เสวยทิพย์สมบัติของเทวดา แต่กระนั้น เทวดาก็สามารถจุติดับลงจากภพสวรรค์ได้เช่นกัน หากหมดบุญหรืออายุขัยในเทวโลกลงแล้ว ความเชื่อเรื่องเทวดาที่มีต่อประชาชนในอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดหนองคาย ได้รับอิทธิพลจากคติทางความเชื่อจากบรรพ บุรุษตั้งแต่สมัยโบราณ มาจากวิวัฒนาการของความเชื่อทางจิตวิญญาณในธรรมชาติ ก่อให้เกิดคติ ความเชื่อในการนับถือ พญานาค เจ้าแม่สองนาง ผีสาง นางไม้ เทวดาที่ สอดคล้องกับหลักการปฏิบัติในทางลัทธิความเชื่อดั้งเดิม และศาสนาพราหมณ์ฮินดู จึงได้สร้างความสัมพันธ์ให้เกิดขึ้นในสังคมแต่ละด้าน เช่นอิทธิพลต่อ วรรณกรรมของจังหวัดหนองคาย ศิลปกรรมด้านต่างๆ ของจังหวัดหนองคาย อธิจิตรกรรม ประติมากรรม และได้ถูกผสมผสานแลกเปลี่ยนไปตาม กาลเวลาและยุคสมัยมาถึงปัจจุบัน วิเคราะห์หลักจริยธรรมของเทวดาที่มีต่อประชาชนในอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดหนองคายรูปแบบด้านประเพณี พิธีกรรม ที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพระพุทธศาสนา ที่นำมาซึ่งผลผลิตทางความเชื่อ ที่ขยายไปสู่สังคมจังหวัดหนองคาย ทั้งด้านเศรษฐกิจ การท่องเที่ยว ที่มีผลต่อค่านิยมของคนรุ่นใหม่ ทั้งเชื่อและไม่เชื่อในเรื่องเทวดาที่ได้รับอิทธิพลมาจากความเชื่อเรื่องเทวดา และการปฏิบัติชอบ เพียรทำความดี และละเว้นความชั่ว ไม่หลงมัวเมาไปกับการทำผิดบาปทั้งหลาย จึงเป็นสังคมที่มีเอกลักษณ์และคุณค่าทางประเพณี ที่มีความเชื่อเรื่องเทวดาอยู่ทุก ๆ กิจกรรมของจังหวัดหนองคาย เพื่อการพัฒนาตนเองและสังคม ด้วยการใช้เป็นศูนย์รวมแห่งความศรัทธา พลังความเชื่อ ที่ช่วยเหลือเยียวยาจิตใจเมื่อขาดกำลังใจ หรือสูญเสียความเชื่อมั่นในตัวเอง ให้เข้าถึงหลักการปฏิบัติตามคำสอนทางพระพุทธศาสนาได้อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม

Abstract: This research is the qualitative research by having its purposes, that is, 1) to study the divines’ existence and morality in Buddhism 2) to study the belief in the divines towards people in Maung District, Nongkhai Province and 3) to analyze the divines’ moral principle towards people in Maung District, Nongkhai Province. The results of the research are found that: The divines’ existence and morality in Buddhism are the creatures in divines’ world in the Six heavens of sphere called the Six heavens of sense-sphere meaning the realm in attachment to the circle of defilements consisting of desire, lust, decease, birth, death as similar to ordinary person in the human world as appeared in the Buddhist scripture. In addition, in Buddhism, they can be divided into three groups, that is, conventional divines, occurred divines and pure divines. The divines’ occurrence results from the accumulated merits and to rely on the basic virtue, that is, moral shame and moral dread leading to be born on various heavens by procession of the divines’ supernatural property. Nevertheless, the divines can decease from the heavens if their merits or life spans are exhausted. The belief in the divines towards people in Maung District, Nongkhai Province inherits from the influence of the primitive people and results from evolution of the belief in the consciousness in the nature. It results in the faith in Phraya Naga, choawmae Songnang, ghosts, wood nymphs and divines in agreeable to the practical principle in the primitive cult and Hinduism. It creates the social relationship in each aspect such as the influence towards the literature of Nongkhai Province, various art work of Nongkhai Province, painting, sculptures and to be mixed together in accordance with time and period until the present. The analysis of the divines’ morality towards people in Maung District, Nongkhai Province is found that the formats of the aspects of the tradition and rituals are related to Buddhism that brings the belief product and expands to the Nongkhai society both economy and tourism that impacts on the new offspring both belief and non-belief in the divines that receives the influence from the belief in the divines and in right action, effort to do good and to avoid an evil and not to be infatuated in doing sins. It is the society that is endowed with the entity and traditional value. The belief in the divines appears in every activity of Nongkhai Province in order to develop oneself and society by using them as the center of faith. The faith force will assist the mentality when it gets exhausted or loses the confidence in oneself to reach the practical principle in accordance with the Buddhist teaching as the concrete oblect.
