Abstract:
The objectives of this study were to: 1) study the status of the academic administration in the professional learning community network, 2) make the academic administration model of the professional learning community network according to Aparihãniyadhamma, and 3) evaluate the academic administration model of the professional learning community network according to Aparihãniyadhamma. This research applied the Mixed Methods Research consisting the Quantitative Research and Qualitative Research collecting the data by Methodological Triangulation from the target group interview with 9 key informants, collecting data from the 400 questionnaires, the focus group discussion with 9 experts, and evaluating the model from 30 stakeholders with the evaluation forms consisting of 4 dimensions: the evaluation of correctness, appropriateness, practicality, and utility. The statistics used mean, standard deviation, and percentage. The data analysis used the Model analysis.
The results of this research were:
1. Overall, the status of the academic administration in the professional learning community network was at a high level (X̄ = 4.23, S.D. = 0.58). When considering each aspect, it was found that teaching and learning management was at the highest level (X̄ = 4.32, S.D. = 0.58). Then, it was the curriculum development (X̄ = 4.26, S.D. = 0.59). Moreover, the measurement and evaluation were at the lowest level (X̄ = 4.10, S.D. = 0.65).
2. Academic administration model on the network of professional learning community according to the APARIHÃNIYADHAMMA principles which consisted of 15 aspects; 1) Curriculum development on supportive leadership, 2) Curriculum development with the target of APARIHÃNIYADHAMMA learning, 3) Curriculum development about member corporations, 4) Curriculum development about discussion and reflection at APARIHÃNIYADHAMMA, 5) Curriculum development about the openness of learning on each other according to APARIHÃNIYADHAMMAs principles, 6) Teaching about supportive leadership and sharing of leadership according to the APARIHÃNIYADHAMMAs principle, 7) The aspect of teaching and learning about having the same target of learners according to the APARIHÃNIYADHAMMA 8) The aspect of teaching and learning about the cooperation of members according to the APARIHÃNIYADHAMMA principles. 9) Teaching and learning about talking and reflecting as the APARIHÃNIYADHAMMAs principles, 10) Teaching and learning about accepting learning on APARIHÃNIYADHAMMAs principles, 11) Measurement and evaluation of supportive leadership and sharing leadership according to the supernatural principles, 12) Measurement and evaluation of setting the same target as learners according to the APARIHÃNIYADHAMMA, 13) Measurement and evaluation concerning the cooperation of members according to the APARIHÃNIYADHAMMA 14) Measurement aspect, 15) Measuring and evaluating the acceptance of learning from each other according to the APARIHÃNIYADHAMMA.
3. The evaluation of the academic administration model of the professional learning community network according to Aparihãniyadhamma in 4 dimensions: the evaluation of correctness, appropriateness, practicality, and utility showed that correctness, appropriateness, and utility were at the highest level. Moreover, the practicality was at a high level.
