Abstract:
The objectives of research paper were (1) to study satisfaction with the Participation of Monks in Community Development According to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy : A Case Study of Don Kruai Community Damnoensaduak District, Ratchaburi Province (2) to study compares satisfaction with the Participation of Monks in Community Development According to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy : A Case Study of Don Kruai Community Damnoensaduak District, Ratchaburi Province classify by personal factors (3) to study the problem obstacles and suggestion of development satisfaction with the Participation of Monks in Community Development According to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy : A Case Study of Don Kruai Community Damnoensaduak District, Ratchaburi Province classify by personal factors. The research methodology was the mixed method research that the quantitative research used the questionnaire as the tool to collect the data in the field study from people (18 years old or older) residing at Village No. 3, Ban Chai Rang, Don Kruai Sub-district Community, Damnoen Saduak District, Ratchaburi Province, totaling 293 people. The statistics were used for the data analysis through frequency percentage mean sigma and qualitative research had the documentary analysis and interview as the tool to collect the data in the field study from 9 key informants and analyzed the data through the content analysis technique.
The findings of this research were as following:
1. The Participation of Monks in Community Development According to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy : A Case Study of Don Kruai Community Damnoensaduak District, Ratchaburi Province overall was found in high level with average at mean of 4.14 when considering the aspect found that the aspect with the highest mean was moderation at mean of 4.17 the aspects with the lowest all aspect the aspects that moral conditions at mean of 4.12.
2. Compares satisfaction with the Participation of Monks in Community Development According to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy : A Case Study of Don Kruai Community Damnoensaduak District, Ratchaburi Province classified by gender age educational background and occupation found that there were no differences in all aspects which rejects the hypothesis.
3. The problems and obstacles for the Participation of Monks in Community Development According to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy : A Case Study of Don Kruai Community Damnoensaduak District, Ratchaburi Province as following:most people in the community have a low income that is not enough for subsistence, having more expenses than income, resulting in the need to borrow debt to use both in and outside the system. Each community leader often has different opinions causing work related to community participation to develop slowly. In some respects the rationality of community leaders is not the same as the social and economic changes in the community which do to be ready only to develop some communities that are not aligned with each other. In various administrations, there is a lack of experts to provide advice on development and knowledge in various fields, resulting in insufficient development and suggestions for the Participation of Monks in Community Development According to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy : A Case Study of Don Kruai Community Damnoensaduak District, Ratchaburi Province found that promote training and educate people in the community to spend in their lives within their own income bracket and avoid spending everyday expenses on unnecessary items. Considering how to solve problems in the right way and knowing how to forgive each other when there is a small problem within the community. Cultivate people in the community to spend sparingly, honesty, generosity to spread Giving opportunities to those who have made mistakes. Campaigning for people in the community to go to temples to practice Dharma and open opportunities for people in the community to express their opinions about the activities that occur in the community.
