Abstract:
The objectives of this research are: 1) to study the state of teachers potential in the digital era in Opportunity Extension Schools in Phakhai district of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province, 2) to study development methods according to Buddhadhamma principles for teachers potential in the digital era in Opportunity Extension Schools in Phakhai district of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province, and 3) to propose guideline for development methods according to Buddhadhamma principles for teachers potential in the digital era in Opportunity Extension Schools in Phakhai district of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province. The quantitative data of the study were collected from 69 teachers and analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The qualitative data were collected from in-depth interviews with 5 experts and analyzed by content analysis.
The study results showed that:
1. The state of teachers potential in the digital era in Opportunity Extension Schools in Phakhai district of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province in 5 aspects was at a high level overall. The highest level was on teacher professional moral and ethics, followed by teamwork, good service, achievement oriented performance, and self-development respectively.
2. Development methods according to the 4 principles of Cakka for teachers potential in the digital era in Opportunity Extension Schools in Phakhai district of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province are to encourage teachers to love and have faith in the profession, to have positive attitude towards the profession, to develop themselves regularly, to work together under Kalyanamitta and teamwork culture, to work based on principles of morality and ethics, to arrange activities for exchange knowledge and learning together, to arrange in-house training, and to integrate the 4 principles of Cakka in developing self-potential.
3. The guidelines for development methods according to the 4 principles of Cakka for teachers potential in the digital era in Opportunity Extension Schools in Phakhai district of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province are that: the administrators should arrange the school atmosphere suitable to work on duty of the personnel, and build friendly environment in work; teachers should provide quick services to recipients, implement technology in work, plan to improve themselves, evaluate their performance, and behave oneself under the professional morality and ethics.
