Abstract:
The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the leadership development of school administrators in the 21st Century under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 2; 2) to study the leadership development of school administrators in the 21st Century according to the Four Iddhipāda under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 2; 3) to propose a guideline for developing the leadership of school administrators in the 21st century 21 according to the Four Iddhipāda under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 2. This study was carried out by means of mixed-method research. The sample group included 112 directors and deputy directors of educational institutes selected by simple random sampling and a group of five informants purposively selected.
The research results were as follows:
1) From overall and each aspect perspectives, the leadership development of educational institution administrators in the 21st Century under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 2 has been practiced at a high level. The highest to lowest mean aspects were problem-solving, teamwork, analytical and creative thinking, technology, and digital use.
2) The leadership development of school administrators in the 21st Century, according to the Four Iddhipāda under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 2, has been practiced both overall and in each aspect perspective at a high level. The aspects sorted from highest to lowest mean were: problem-solving, teamwork, analytical and creative thinking, and technology and digital use according to the Four Iddhipāda.
3) The guidelines for developing the leadership of school administrators in the 21st century 21 according to the Four Iddhipāda under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 2, are that the administrators must support the development of personnel in the organization to know, ability to consistently use media and technology, good interpersonal skills and speech, a good personality and a vision to set goals and work plans to achieve the goals.
