Abstract:
The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the use of Brahmavihāra Dhamma by school administrators of Educational Opportunity Extension Schools under the Office of Buriram Primary Educational Service Area 4; 2) to compare the use of Brahmavihāra Dhamma by school administrators of Educational Opportunity Extension Schools under the Office of Buriram Primary Educational Service Area 4, classified by the samples genders, educational degrees, and working experiences; 3) to study the guideline of the use of Brahmavihāra Dhamma by school administrators of Educational Opportunity Extension Schools under the Office of Buriram Primary Educational Service Area 4.
The research results were as follows:
1) The use of Brahmavihāra Dhamma by school administrators of Educational Opportunity Extension Schools under the Office of Buriram Primary Educational Service Area was at a high level in both overall and aspect perspectives.
2) The use of Brahmavihāra Dhamma by school administrators of Educational Opportunity Extension Schools under the Office of Buriram Primary Educational Service Area 4, classified by the samples genders was different in both overall and aspect perspectives. Classified by the samples educational degrees and working experiences, there was no difference in both perspectives.
3) The guideline for the use of Brahmavihāra Dhamma by school administrators of Educational Opportunity Extension Schools under the Office of Buriram Primary Educational Service Area 4 is that in terms of Mettā, administrators should have good intentions for their subordinates, give advice on work and have appropriate behavior, assign various tasks appropriately in line with subordinates knowledge, competence and aptitude. In terms of Karuṇā, administrators should be kind to their subordinates with sincerity, material, physical, and moral, and fair support regularly and equally. In terms of Muditā, administrators should encourage their subordinates who are knowledgeable and capable of working in self-improvement for progress and successful works that are evident to the public. In terms of Upekkhā, administrators should have good intentions for their subordinates, be free of all prejudices, be fair, and use Brahmavihāra Dhamma principles in administration with equality and fairness for everyone to be happy in their work.
