Abstract:
The objectives of this research are: 1. To study the general conditions in temple management regarding cultural tourism by the Sangha. Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province 2. To study the elements of temple management in terms of cultural tourism by the Sangha. Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province 3. To present a model of efficiency in temple management in terms of cultural tourism by the Sangha. Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The research method is qualitative research (Qualitative Research) from document study (Documentary Research) and in-depth interviews (In-depth Interview) with 25 key informants (Key Informants) or people and focus group discussions ( Focus Group Discussion) with experts in temple management and cultural tourism of the Sangha. Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, 10 figures or people
The research results found that:
1. General conditions in the temple management of cultural tourism by the monks. In Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, strengths include history and outstanding temples. Convenience of traveling. Weak points include inconsistent management. Lack of systematic management Building structures that are at risk of flooding. Opportunities include advertising through online media. organizing new activities Supporting cooperation with the community in organizing activities. Obstacles include the abbot having no policy to develop the temple to create tourism. Due to economic factors or limited finances.
2. Components of temple management in terms of cultural tourism by the Sangha Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province found that planning should specify models and plans. Study the current situation, problems, and needs.
