Abstract:
The impact of internal, individual-specific, external,
contextual, institutional environment, and labour marketdriven
factors on employer satisfaction was assessed in the
present study in the context of enrolling the fresh engineering
graduates in information technology based industries in India.
The present research study has followed quantitative research
method approach and has used purposive sampling technique;
the study has examined 370 employers as managerial delegates,
who conduct campus placement drives in the AICTE approved
colleges/institutions/universities in and around Mumbai, India
for the enrollment of fresh engineering information technology
graduates. The data were collected through survey
questionnaire and analyzed by using structure equation
modeling approach. Independent factors such as institutional
structure and practices, industry interface, career clarity,
employability skills, emotional intelligence, and organizational
environment all have a substantial impact on employer
satisfaction, according to the findings of the study
