Abstract:
The objectives of this research were 1) to study the performance of employees during the COVID-19 epidemic, 2) to investigate the relationship between changing organizational behavior factors during the COVID-19 epidemic and employee performance. This is quantitative research. The population in this study was 163 employees of Phayao Garage V.I.P Co., Ltd. Taro Yamane's method was employed to select a sample of 116 employees. The questionnaire was distributed using the random method by chance. Statistics used were frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, and Pearson correlation coefficient. The findings were: 1) the performance of employees during the coronavirus epidemic situation was at a high level (x̅ = 3.90), followed by quality of work which was very efficient (x̅ = 3.89), high efficiency in workload (x̅ = 3.77) and operational expenses with a high level (x̅ = 3.75) respectively, 2) in organizational behavior at the individual level, organizational behavior at the group level, and organizational behavior at the organizational level, overall, there was a moderately positive correlation as well as operational efficiency of the staff. Research recommendation is that a plan should be made to prevent problems related to human behavior factors that correlate with organizational behavior that will affect operational efficiency especially during times of crisis.
