Abstract:
This predictive research aimed to study factors predicting preventive and control behaviors on dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) among Pasang subdistrict people, Maechan district, Chiang Rai Province, 364 participants were selected by cluster sampling, data were collected by questionnaires, analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard division, Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis. The result revealed that more than half of participants were female (57.70%), age = 36-59 years old (62.1%), Buddhism (95.9%), education or primary school level (49.5%), general employee (32.7%), income 5,000-15,000 bath (51.9%), couple (68.1%), no social position (76.6%), no history of DHF (89.6%), had DHF prevention and control behaviors at moderate level (80.8%) and factors predicted overall preventive behaviors and DHF control among people were 12.3%(R2 = 0.123, Adj.= 0.111, F = 4.653, Sig = 0.032) include divorce/separating status, personal business career, assistant village headman/village committee, resource skill for DHF prevention and control and community measures
