Abstract:
This research this was a cross-sectional analytical study. To study personal factors, predisposing factors, reinforcing factors, enabling factors and self-defense behaviors in the use of pesticides. and to study the relationship between personal factors, predisposing factors, reinforcing factors and enabling factors with selfdefense behaviors in the use of chemical pesticides of rice farmers Nakhon Phanom province the samples were farmers who self-mixed and sprayed pesticides in the rice fields. in the district of naga Nakhon Phanom province, a total of 386 people, which were calculated by a multi-stage sampling method (Multi-stage Sampling). plants in the rice field by themselves has been registered as a farmer and has a farmer card issued by the government. including having experience in using pesticides for at least 1 year. The tool used to collect data was a questionnaire. The statistics used as descriptive statistics were number, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The relationship was analyzed with the Chi-square test statistic. The results showed that behavior of using pesticides divide into behavior before using pesticides. Behavior while using pesticides behavior after using pesticides overall, it was at a fair level, at the level of health literacy. cognitive high level access to information and health services data valuation analysis and the application of health information moderate when testing the relationship between personal factors, it was found that rights used to heal when sick, rice farming experience, type of chemicals used by farmers.
