The effects of integrated learning according to steam education with sufficiency economy philosophy in the art subject area on creative thinking and sufficient character of pratomsuksa 4 students
Abstract:
The objectives of this research were 1) to study the creativity of Prathomsuksa 4 students after receiving the integrated learning management based on STEAM Education Concept together with the sufficiency economy philosophy compared with the criterion of 60 percent and 2) To study the sufficiency characteristics of Prathomsuksa 4 students after receiving the integrated learning management based on the concept of STEAM Education with the sufficiency economy philosophy. The participants were 4/3 class students at the bansrimaharacha municipal school in semester 2 of the academic year 2021. The participants were 23 students, which were selected by using the group randomization technique. The research instruments were 1) the integrated learning management plans based on STEAM with sufficiency economy philosophy for Prathomsuksa 4 students in Unit 4 (Visual Arts in Culture), 2) the creativity assessment form, 3) the self-sufficient character assessment form. The statistics used to analyze the data in this research were mean, standard deviation and t-test for one sample. The research findings were as follows: 1. Creativity of prathomsuksa 4 students after receiving an integrated learning management based on the concept of STEAM Education together with the sufficiency economy philosophy was higher than the criterion of 60 percent with the statistical significance at .05 level. 2. The sufficiency characteristics of Prathomsuksa 4 students after receiving the integrated learning management based on the concept of STEAM Education with the sufficiency economy philosophy was 2.70 in average and in excellent level.
