Abstract:
This research aims to 1) group of tourism districts and facilities at Sikhoraphum
District, Surin Province. 2) study and analyze the group of tourism and facilities at
Sikhoraphum District, Surin Province and 3) linking tourist routes and facilities at
Sikhoraphum District, Surin Province. This research consisted of 5 steps: (1) data
storage, (2) data preparation, (3) preparation of analytical tools, (4) clustering by
DBSCAN Clustering Algorithm, and (5) Visualization of results, such as group of tourism.
Distribution map of tourist attractions and facilities and linking routes. The efficiency
assessment of tourist attractions and facilities with DBSCAN Clustering Algorithm was
conducted by presenting the group performance to three experts in tourism and the
number of digital aspects. Three persons operate the implementation of spatial data
of tourist attractions and facilities into program R Studio, R Language and Shiny Web
Application by grouping of DBSCAN Algorithm. The results of the research were as
follows: 1) at Sikhoraphum District, Surin Province, there is a distribution of tourist
attractions and facilities are divided into 2 area: railway route district and main road
226 with the community tourism in the upper area of Sikhoraphum District 2) the
results of group of tourist attractions and facilities with DBSCAN Clustering Algorithm
found that Eps: 0.01 / MinPts: 3, it was found that the tourism district group had 7
areas and 1 group of area, and when the Eps value: 0.01 / MinPts: 5, it was found that the tourism group had 4 areas and 1 group of area. The became more clearly
demonstrated when the number of points increased, and 3) the results of selecting
the group of tourism districts for linking tourism routes were groups of area railways
and main roads 226. Due to the density and clarity of the group of tourism district and
facilities, the results of the evaluation DBSCAN Clustering Algorithm performance by
digital experts found that the tourism district is sensible and interesting within good
level and the mean score of 3.5 (S.D. = 0.23), it is in good performance level. The
evaluation of grouping efficiency the experts in tourism found that the group of tourism
district was consistent and able to create a route and link in tourism within good level
and the mean value of 4.53 (S.D. = 0.50) was in a very good level of efficiency. The
measuring the efficiency of the group of tourist areas and facilities, the Davies-Boldin
index was the lowest at 0.239, in a good capability level.
