THE EFFICIENCY OF M-LEARNING MONITORING APPLICATION FOR HOME-SCHOOL INVOLVEMENT AT HIGH SCHOOL, PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA
Abstract:
Nowadays, the spread out of Covid-19 has been extreme widely in the world.
There are many countries that get affects from this disease so they have problems of
living in country, and they have to design a new rule for living as new normal. Also,
in Cambodia, it is a chance that Cambodian find out the solution in living in this
situation. Education is one of the necessary for adults and learning is non-stop in
order to student achievement in education by using Online-Learning, so M-Learning
Monitoring Application can help support Home-School Involvement. The study was
delimited to a public school in grade 10 at Hun Sen Borey 100 Khnarng High School
in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. An ICT teacher, 6 parents, and 30 students actively
attending the focus school during the 2020-2021 academic year that were eligible to
participate in this study. The descriptive statistics results of this study indicated that
the higher the knowledge of using M-learning, and (b) attitude toward using Mlearning Monitoring Application with teacher, teachers: (c) knowledge of using Mlearning and Internet, (d) attitude toward using M-learning Monitoring Application with
students, (e) attitude toward using M-learning Monitoring Application with teacher,
parents, and (f) perceived usefulness of M-learning Monitoring Application, and
Students: (g) knowledge of using M-learning, and (h) perceived usefulness of M-learning Monitoring Application, the greater the relationship between Home-School
and student achievement.
Pearson correlation analysis (1) Correlation between students and teachers of
using M-learning Monitoring Application, there were moderate, positive correlation
between students and teachers. Scale 1, r = .370, p = .044, and Scale 2, r = .366, p =
.047. There was a high, positive correlation between the relationship between
students and teachers by using M-learning Monitoring Application Scale 3, r = .667, p
= 0.10. (2) Correlation between parents and teachers of using M-learning Monitoring
Application. There was a high, positive correlation Scale 1, r = .926, p = .008, and
Scale 3, r = .897, p = .006. There was a moderate, positive correlation between the
relationship between parents and teachers by using M-learning Monitoring
Application Scale 2, r = .857, p = 0.29. Result of analyses for research was significant.
The experiment shows good efficiency of the proposed M-learning monitoring
Application for learner achievement and suggest that it can be used for real
application in situation Covid-19 and ICT for education.
