Abstract:
This independent research aims to 1) study the organizational culture that affecting the personnel performance efficiency of software businesses in Chiang Mai province. and 2) explore approaches to improving the personnel performance efficiency of software businesses in Chiang Mai province. This independent study is a quantitative research that has collected data through an online questionnaire with 385 samples using the frequency, mean, percentage and standard deviation to clarify descriptive statistics of various variables in the research such as finding the level of opinions on organizational culture and performance and using Multiple Regression Analysis for analyzing the organizational culture that affecting the personnel performance efficiency of software businesses in Chiang Mai province. The result of independent research revealed that 1) the sample group had the highest level of opinion on organizational culture as the adhocracy culture followed by clan culture, hierarchical culture, and the market culture respectively 2) software business personnel in Chiang Mai province have the highest opinion on time efficiency, followed by quantity and quality efficiency, and the cost efficiency aspect has the lowest score. 3) The clan culture and adhocracy culture have an impact on the personnel performance efficiency of software businesses in Chiang Mai province, with clan culture having the greatest influence. 4) market culture has the least relationship with the performance. Therefore, organizations that focus on personnel performance efficiency should promote the adoption of clan and/or adhocracy culture, or at least improve and apply with some dimensions of these two cultural patterns in business management and operations, in line with the current vision, mission, and goals of the organization.
