Abstract:
Development of learning activities on web application using experiential learning and community based learning to enhance sustainable development ability for lower secondary school students. The findings revealed that 1) analyze and synthesize theories, principles, and related literature based on experiential learning concepts, web application, community based learning and sustainable development capabilities 2) develop learning activities on a web application by utilizing experience and community based learning concept to enhance the sustainable development capabilities, 3) study the results of utilizing learning activities on the web application, and 4) evaluate the utilization of learning activities on the web application. This study is a research and development with 30 students in grade 7, Khonkaen wittayayon school, the secondary educational service area office Khonkaen, second semester, 2021 academic year, as research samples. The samples were selected using purposive sampling with 3 indicators; namely, 1) being prompted in the technological aspects, 2) possessing a smartphone or tablet, and 3) willingly participating in the study and senior experts in 4 areas, including 5 people. The research instruments consisted of 1) lesson plan, 2) self - assessment forms, 3) subjective tests, 4) satisfaction questionnaire for the learning activities on the web application, 5) students behavior observation form while engaging in the learning activities on the web application, and 6) evaluation forms for utilizing the learning activities on the web application. The results found that 1. The results of the study synthesize the theory. The concept of experiential and community based learning is a concept that aims to create experiences for learners and integrate them by participating in understanding and solving community problems. which resulted in the synthesis of 6 - process learning activities, comprising planning, and learning scoping, reviewing past experiences, contemplating and experience exchange, proceeding the study and learning, concluding and reflecting learning results, and adapting the study to real - life situations. 2. Results of the development of learning activities on the web application It consists of a 6 - step learning activity combined with the use of a web application with key functions including group discussions, quizzes, games, work planning. and taking notes by using learning activities both inside and outside the classroom. 3. The results of the experiment on using web application learning activities using experiential and community based learning concepts to promote sustainable development competences were found 1) students, who had learned via activities on a web application by utilizing experience and community based learning concepts to enhance the sustainable development capabilities. The knowledge, capability, and post - learning attitudes are significantly higher than that of pre - learning activities at .05 points. 2) The satisfactory evaluation towards learning activities on the web application, overall. In general, the value is at the highest level (M = 4.59, S.D. = 0.23), 3) the results of overall students behavioral evaluation are at a high level (M = 3.88, S.D. = 0.58), and 4. the evaluation results of the utilization of the web application by senior experts. The satisfactory level towards the learning activities is at the most appropriate (M = 4.81, S.D. = 0.27)
