Abstract:
The objective of the research study was to develop a creation model of open educational resources with electronic
portfolios to increase analytical thinking ability of undergraduate students. The research and development (R&D)
procedures was divided into four stages: 1) developing the main concept of open educational resources with electronic portfolios to increase analytical thinking ability (OER-EPort), 2) developing the OER-EPort model, and 3) determining the results of OER-EPort model; 4) evaluating the OER-EPort model. The sample group of the study was 19 undergraduate students from Chulalongkorn University who had enrolled to the Project for Computer Education. The experiment period was 12 weeks. The research tools were the OER-EPort model and the analytical thinking ability test. Data were analyzed using the frequency, the arithmetic mean, the standard deviation and the t-Test for Dependent. The results of the study revealed those:
1. The OER-EPort model consisted of 5 components which were: 1) scope, 2) design OER, 3) develop OER
4) implement OER and 5) evaluate OER. The objective of the model is to increase analytical thinking ability. The instructional
process consisted of 5 stages. The first stage was the objective stage, the second stage was created stage, the third stage was feedback, the fourth stage was connected stage and the fifth stage was presented stage. The evaluation of learning was to measure a critical thinking skills development and authentic assessment.
2. The undergraduate students learned with the OER-EPort model had a statistically significant difference of the analytical thinking skills posttest scores over the pretest scores .01 level.
3. The experts agree that a Open Educational Resources with Electronic Portfolios Model was appropriateness
at an excellent level of satisfaction.
