Abstract:
This research is conducted with the purposes to study 1) the level of safety awareness, safety culture in organizational and working safety behaviors of employees in electrical power plants, 2) the correlation between the safety awareness and working safety behaviors of employees in electrical power plants, 3) the correlation between the organizational safety culture and working safety behaviors of employees in electrical power plants, and 4) the prediction of working safety awareness behaviors of employees in electrical power plant. The sample group in this study is composed of 267 employees in two electrical power plants by using stratified sampling technique and questionnaire. The statistics tools used in this study to analyses the data include, percentage, average, standard deviation, Pearsons correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis.
The research findings reveal that 1) the average of the level of safety awareness, organizational safety culture and working safety behaviors are at the highest level, 2) the safety awareness has a high positive significant correlation with working safety behaviors of employees of electrical power plants at the statistics level .01 (r=.863), 3) the safety culture in organizational has a high positive significant correlation with working safety behaviors of employees in electrical power plants at the statistics level .01 (r=.863) and 4) the possibility to predict the safety culture on reporting, safety awareness and safety culture in organizational on flexibility can be brought to share with the prediction of safety working behaviors of employees in electrical power plant at the percentage level 84.30%. The results of this research can be applied to use in promoting the safety behaviors in working places and reduce the risk of working accident.
