Abstract:
This research objectives were to study the relationship between E-Lifestyle and motive to play online games and relationship between E-Lifestyle and types of online game. The four hundred samples were selected by Accidental Sampling by using online questionnaires as a tool to collect data. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, and Multiple Regression Analysis. The results of the study showed that 2 of the 7 E-Lifestyles was significantly correlated to motive to play online games and that 4 of the 7 E-Lifestyles was significantly correlated to types of online game. From the test at the statistical significance level of 0.05, it was found that the Entertainment-driven and Uninterested or concern-driven E-lifestyle have correlated to motivation to play online games for Achievement and Immersion. ang Mai University Furthermore, the results showed that Interest-driven, Entertainment-driven, and Uninterested or concern-driven E-lifestyle have correlated to RTS: Real-Time Strategy, type of online game. Perceived importance-driven E-lifestyle has correlated to Fighting Game and Uninterested or concern-driven E-lifestyle has correlated to RPG: Role-Playing Game, Fighting Game, RTS: Real- Time Strategy and Adventure Game.
