The development of a learning package by using phenomenon based learning supporting scientific literacy on the topic of acid - base for grade 11th students
Abstract:
The purpose of this research was (1) to Supporting Scientific Literacy on the Topic of
Acid - Base for Grade 11th Students to be effective according to the criteria 75/75; (2) to study the
Scientific Literacy of Grade 11th students learning by Using Phenomenon-Based Learning
Supporting Scientific Literacy on the Topic of Acid - Base for Grade 11th Students; (3) to compare
the learning achievement before and after learning of Grade 11th students learning by Learning
Package by Using Phenomenon-Based Learning; and (4) to study satisfaction with learning by
Learning Package by Using Phenomenon-Based Learning. To Supporting the competency of
Scientific Literacy. The samples of the study were 26 Grade 11th students at Assumption College
Ubon Ratchathani School, 2nd semester, academic year 2021 selected by Area Sampling. The
research instruments were 8 learning activity packages, the Scientific Literacy competency
assessment form The rubric. learning achievement test. It is a multiple-choice type with 4
choices, consisting of 40 items, with difficulty ranging from .22-.34 with the classification power
from .25-.81, the whole confidence value is .89, The study satisfaction was a rating scale of 5
levels with 25 items. The data were analyzed using the mean, Standard deviation, percentage
and t-test.
The research findings were as follows
1. The development of a learning activity set according to the Phenomenon-Based
Learning Supporting competency of Scientific Literacy; it was found that the learning package was
as effective as 77.31/76.15 which was accord with the criteria set at 75/75.
2. The students learned by Using Phenomenon-Based Learning Supporting Scientific
Literacy on the Topic of Acid - Base for Grade 11th Students to Supporting the competency of
Scientific Literacy Representing 84.37 percent and have consistently higher scores
3. The comparison of the achievement of the students learning by of an Instructional
Package Based Using Phenomenon-Based Learning It was found that the scores after studying
were significantly higher than before at the .05 level.
4. The study of the satisfaction of the students learned by Learning Package by Using
Phenomenon-Based Learning, it was found that the students were satisfaction level very agree.
