Abstract: การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ ศึกษาการใช้ ความพึงพอใจที่มีต่อการใช้ ปัยหาและอุปสรรคในการใช้ฐานข้อมูลเอกสารอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ในรูปแบบฉบับเต็ม รวมถึงเปรียบเทียบปัญหาและอุปสรรค จำแนกตามประเภทของผู้ใช้และระดับการศึกษา เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูลคือ แบบสอบถามออนไลน์โดย ถามจากกลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ นิสิต อาจารย์ นักวิจัย บุคคลากรสายสนับสนุน วิชาการ มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา และบุคคลภายนอก ที่ใช้ฐานระหว่าง วันที่ 20 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2552- 20 เมษายน 2553 โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ จำนวน 400 คน และได้รับแบบสอบถามคืนมา 334 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 83.50 ผู้วิจัยได้วิเคราะห์และประมวลผลการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้โปรแกรมสำเร็จรูปวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลทางสถิติ โดยใช้สถิติค่าร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบสมมติฐานการวิจัย การวิเคราะห์ค่าความแปรปรวนทางเดียว (One-way ANOVA) และค่า t-test ผลการวิจัยมีดังนี้ 1. ข้อมูลทั่วไปเกี่ยวกับผู้ตอบแบบสอบถาม พบว่า ส่วนใหญ่ เป็นผู้ใช้ภายในมหาวิทยาลัย มีสถานภาพเป็นนิสิต มีการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโท/เอก สังกัดอยู่ในคณะมนุษยศาสตรืและสังคมศาสตร์ มากที่สุด และมีความถี่ในการเข้าใช้ 2-5 ครั้ง ในรอบระยะเวลา 3 เดือนที่ผ่านมา 2. การใช้ฐานข้อมูลเอกสารอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ในรูปแบบฉบับเต็มของสำนักหอสมุด มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา ส่วนใหญ่ทราบแหล่งข้อมูลจากเว็บไซต์ของห้องสมุด วัตถุประสงคืในการใช้ฐานข้อมูล คือเพื่อทำวิทยานิพนธ์ มีวิธีการสืบค้นข้อมุลจากคำอธิบายวิธีใช้จากหน้าจอ การใช้ทางเลือกในการสืบค้นข้อมูลส่วนใหญ่ใช้ทุกเขตข้อมูลเป้นทางเลือกในการสืบค้น ประเภทของข้อมูลที่ต้องการคือ วิทยานิพนธ์ และค้นข้อมูลปีปัจจุบัน-ข้อมูลย้อนหลังไม่เกิน 5 ปี ใช้ระยะเวลาในการสืบค้นมากกว่า 60 นาที ช่วงเวลาในการสืบค้น เวลา 12.01-18.00 น. และใช้วิธีการในการจัดเก็บข้อมูลโดยจัดเก็บลงใน Handy Drive/ Flash Drive ผู้ใช้ส่วนใหญ่มีการกลับมาใช้ฐานข้อมูลและมีความต้องการรูปแบบที่เป้นดิจิทัล 3.ความพึงพอใจในการใช้ฐานข้อมูลเอกสารอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ในรูปแบบฉบับเต็ม พบว่า โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก และเมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายข้อ พบว่า อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด 2 ข้อ ได้แก่ ฐานข้อมูลมีเนื้อหาที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อการเรียนและการทำงาน และสามารถสืบค้นข้อมูลเอกสารฉบับเต็มทั้งปีปัจจุบันและปีย้อนหลังได้ 4. ปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการใช้ฐานข้อมูลเอกสารอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ในรูปแบบฉบับเต็ม พบว่า โดยร้วมอยู่ในระดับน้อย เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้านพบว่า ส่วนใหญ่อยู่ในระดับน้อยเช่นกัน มีเพียง 1 ด้านคือ ด้านเนื้อหาอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง 5. การเปรียบเทียบปัญหาและอุปสรรค ในการใช้ฐานข้อมูล พบว่า ประเภทของใช้ต่างกันมีปัญหาและอุสรรคในการใช้ฐานข้อมูล โดยรวมแตกต่างกัน และระดับการศึกษาต่างกัน มีปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการใช้ฐานข้อมูลโดยรวมแตกต่างกัน
