Abstract:
The purposes of this research aim 1) to construction and determine efficiency
of a curriculum to enhance future problems solving to prepare for an earthquake disaster using a teaching model on the Torrance concept for upper primary school student and
2) to investigate on the result of a curriculum to enhance future problems solving to prepare for an earthquake disaster using a teaching model on the Torrance concept for upper primary school student. The representative samples in this research were 20 students from upper primary class enrolled in second semester of academic year 2020 of Bannamcham (Wichaichananukhow) School, under Phare education area district office 1. The research tools used in this research were 1) a curriculum 2) a handbook and 3) a questionnaire to evaluate on the thinking process for problems solving to prepare for an earthquake disaster using a teaching model on the Torrance concept for upper primary school student.
The result data was analyzed to find percentage value, average value, standard deviation and relative development percentage.
It can be found from the research that 1) The result of consideration on a suitability
of a curriculum shows the mean value of the curriculum as high level (x ̅ = 4.43, S.D. = 0.57),
a handbook shows the mean value of the curriculum as the highest level (x ̅ = 4.46, S.D. = 0.50).
The result to determine the efficiency of a curriculum has a value of 0.6054 of efficienciness index. 2) From the result of a curriculum, it can be found that the students who took
the curriculum has higher score with before taking a curriculum. The average of relative development percentage is 76.22%.
