Abstract:
The objectives of the independent study were to explore: 1) personal factors affecting decisions to order pre-order products, 2) behavior affecting decisions to order pre-order products, and 3) marketing mix factors and technology acceptance factors affecting decisions to order pre-order products
The sample used in this study included people who used to order pre-order products living in Bangkok and its suburban area. Accidental sampling was used as a sampling method with 400 participants were sampled. Statistics used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Hypotheses were tested using theIndependent Samplet-test, One-Way ANOVA, and MultipleRegression Analysis.
The results of hypothesis testing indicated that different personal factors of occupation had an effect on the decisions to order pre-order products in different ways, whereas it was found that varying personal behaviors in purchasing products had noeffectsonthe decisions toorder pre-order products. The MultipleRegression Analysis demonstrated that factors affecting the decisions to order pre-order products were marketing mix factors of place ( =0.445) and acceptance of personal services technology (=0.231) with statistical significance at the level of 0.05.
