Abstract:
This research aimed to: 1) investigate the level of information technology utilization in academic administration of school administrators under Saraburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, and 2) develop a practical guideline for information technology utilization in academic administration of school administrators under Saraburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2.
The population in the research consisted of 126 primary school administrators under Saraburi Primary Educational Service Area Ofice 2. There were 5 school administrators who were the key informants for the in-depth interviews. The research instruments used for collecting data were Likert five-point scale questionnaires and interview forms. The data were analyzed using frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and the content analysis for the qualitative research.
The results indicated that: 1) the level of information technology utilization in academic administration of school administrators under Saraburi Primary Educational Sevice Area Office 2, as a whole, was at a high leveL. 2) The practical guideline for information technology utilization in academic administration of school administrators under Saraburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 consisted of five dimensions: (1) the school curriculum development dimension, (2) the school assessment, evaluation, and credit transfer dimension, (3) the teaching and learning dimension, (4) the educational supervision dimension, and (5) the academic planning dimension.
