Abstract:
This research aimed to: 1) investigate the innovative leadership of school administrators under the Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, and 2) explore the practical approaches for developing the innovative leadership of school administrators under the Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2.
The research samples consisted of 320 school administrators under the Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, derived from cluster sampling. The key informants included six school administrators under the Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The instruments were a questionnaire and an interview form. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.
The research results revealed that: 1) the innovative leadership of school administrators under the Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 was overall at a high level. 2) The practical approaches for developing the innovative leadership of school administrators under the Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 consisted of five areas. First, using information and communication
technology; the school administrators provided modern technology, media, materials and communication equipment sufficiently and efficiently with a system of supervision, monitoring and development to equip the personnel with the computer technology knowledge. Second, teamwork and participation; the school administrators had participatory management by supporting and encouraging personnel in educational institutions to participate in expressing opinions, and contribute to work improvement in the form of
working groups and teams. Third, vision of change; the school administrators must always be a seeker of knowledge by turning one's own ideas into coaching and academic leaders to create a work culture focusing on being open-minded, and accepting new things or new ideas. Fourth, creativity; the school administrators allowed everyone to create mutually beneficial work, and enabled participants to value the innovation that empowered people to mobilize change to achieve goals. Fifth, creating an innovative
corporate atmosphere; the school administrators listened to each other's opinions including showing kindness to others, being polite and humble when working together.
