Conditions and Guidelines for Internal Supervision Using the Classroom-Based to Develop Learner's Quality in Schools under Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 2
Abstract:
This research aimed 1) to study internal supervision by using classroom-based to develop leamer's quality in schools under Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, 2) to compare the opinions of school administrators about classroom-based internal supervision to develop leamner's quality in schools under Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, classified by working experiences and school sizes; and 3) to examine the guidelines for internal supervision using the classroom-based to develop learner's quality in schools under Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The samples consisted of 144 school administrators, selected through the table of Krejcie and Morgan, and stratified random sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire with the reliability of 0.964. The statistics used for data analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation, independent samples t-test, and One-way ANOVA. If the differences were found, Scheffe method was used.
The findings were as follows:
1. The opinions of the school administrators about the conditions of internal supervision using the classroom-based to develop learner's quality in the schools under Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, both in overall and each aspect were at a high level.
2. The comparison of the school administrators' opinions about the conditions of internal supervision using the classroom-based to develop learner's quality in schools under Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, classified by working experiences, both in overall and each aspect was significantly different at statistical level of .05
3. The conditions of internal supervision using classrooms-based to develop learner's quality in schools under Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, classified by schoolsizes, in overall were significantly different at statistical level of .05
4. The internal supervision guidelines that school administrators should implement include encouraging teachers to recognize students individually, creating an atmosphere in the classroom that is conducive to teaching and learning activities both in the classroom and distance learning, building up a culture of quality assurance in educational institutions, developing teachers in the form of a professional learning community (PLC), working in accordance with the work development engagement, allowing teachers who are proficient in Thai language to develop material for fluent reading and writing media, and promoting teachers to develop themselves as innovators in the development of learning management quality.
