The corporate social responsibility of the organization had the relationship with the profitability of a listed company on the stock exchange in Rayong province by evaluating from csr activities
Abstract:
This research aims to study 1. the business structure of the company in industrial estates in Rayong province; 2. the operation of the corporate social responsibility of the company in industrial estates in Rayong province; 3. the relationship between corporate social responsibility of the organization, the sustainable image with business results in view of the company's management in industrial estates in Rayong province; and 4. factors affecting the company's business performance in industrial estates in Rayong province. The research used the questionnaire as a tool to collect data from a sample of 543 executives of 55 companies in 5 industrial estates in Rayong province, using Taro Yamane's method. For sample selection methods used a stratified random sampling. Statistics used to analyze data as percentage, average, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient test and enter multiple regression analysis with SPSS. The results showed that 1. the business structure of a public limited company in Rayong province that was mainly industrial goods group was 50.9%, with a registered capital of 1-399 million baht was 25.5%, with total assets 1 -5,000 million baht was 54.5%, and the company's founding period between 26 and 30 years was 34.5%, 2. In the view of the executives, the organization's community social responsibility was the most important and the second most important was the organization's environmental social responsibility, 3. Corporate social responsibility, sustainable image with the business results in the view of executives, had the internal correlation coefficient between variables had a statistically significant positive correlation of 0.01 with a value between .447 and .697 at a relatively large level, and 4. the factor of organization's social responsibility on the employee, the environment and the community had no correlation at the statistically significant level with the average business performance figures between 2019-2020 as measured by the return on assets and the rate of return on equity.
