Abstract:
The objectives of this research were 1) to study academic administration according to the Four Saṅgahavatthu Dhammas of primary schools under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 5; 2) to propose guidelines for academic administration according to the Four Saṅgahavatthu Dhammas of primary schools under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 5. This study was carried out utilizing a mixed-method research methodology. The samples included 317 administrators and teachers, and the key informants included five administrators and teachers (10). The statistics used in the data analysis were: Frequency, Percentage, Mean and Standard Deviation. The obtained data were interpreted by the content analysis.
The research results were as follows:
1) The academic administration, according to the Four Saṅgahavatthu Dhammas of primary schools under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 5 overall, was rated at the highest level of practice. The highest practice rate was the aspect of 'learning management,' followed by 'the development of curriculum' and 'measurement and evaluation.'
2) The guidelines for academic administration according to the Four Saṅgahavatthu Dhammas of primary schools under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 5 were that in terms of curriculum development, schools should make an order of curriculum preparation and encourage teachers to attend curriculum development training. In terms of learning management, schools should appoint teachers according to their major and use polite words. In terms of measurement and evaluation, schools should have adequate and diverse assessment measures. In educational supervision, schools should encourage the supervisory team to follow up and guide teachers friendlily and courteously.
