Abstract:
The objectives of this research are: 1) to study the state of learning management for students in schools under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration,2) to develop a model of learning management according to Tisikkhā for students in schools under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and 3) to propose the model of learning management according to Tisikkhā for students in schools under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The mixed research methods were used in this study. The qualitative data were collected from documents, in-depth interviews with 5 school administrators, and group discussions with 8 experts by using documentary study form and interview form. The quantitative data were collected by questionnaires from 390 teachers in schools under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration obtained by simple random sampling. The data were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.
The research results were found that:
1. The state of learning management for students in schools under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration is that: Students: disable students learn slowly and it takes time in teaching and learning process; Course contents: measurement and evaluation in the course should be revised and adjusted to suite students ability; Instructional media and learning resources: the media, facilities and buildings are not suitable to disable students: Environment and learning atmosphere: cleanliness, tidiness and lighting in the classroom are up to standard; Interaction between students and psychological atmosphere in classroom: some students attend the class without eating breakfast or lunch; and Teachers: they have pressure from administration system and their own family economy.
2. Development of a model of learning management according to Tisikkhā for students in schools under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration was at a high level overall. In details, the highest level was on Accuracy, followed by Utility, suitability, and feasibility respectively.
3. The model of learning management according to Tisikkhā for students in schools under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration consists of 5 significant components as follows: 1) Learning management principle according to Tisikkhā 2) Objective of learning management according to Tisikkha, 3) Model of learning management for students according to Tisikkhā, 4) Implementation, and 5) Conditions to success.
